Haha, it's kind of a late response, but i just checked your site now and was re-reading some of the posts :p

& say that i did fall in love with my best friend. and while we are now happily together, we both admitted that it was stupid to have been so afraid. we feared losing everything, and forgot that there was so much to gain instead.

i say, risk it. if it's not requited feelings, best friendship will withstand just about anything. :)

My previous crush led me to believe that there was something more to our friendship than there really was, and when he found out i liked him, he stopped speaking to me and our friendship was put to an end. So now that there's someone new in my life, I've become desensitized to that funny feeling you usually get when you like someone. I saw this new guy at a concert alone with another girl, but I was barely even bothered by it. In fact, I was intrigued. But I really do like him. So, right now, I feel like it's the fault of the last guy...

Hi Codeblued!

My boyfriend's natural smell makes me so hot and so I frequently ask him not to wear any perfume. It's weird but I actually like it when he's all sweaty because the smell I love gets really stronger whenever that's the case. He knows that I like his smell but I doubt that he knows that I try my hardest to suppress the urge to pounce on him because of this. Pheromones, most probably. =))

1. Yes, Codeblued went on a month-long hiatus for various reasons: One, no new secrets were coming in. Two, there were other things I had to fix first. Three, I wasn't sure if I still had fans. Four, no one was commenting on the secrets. But I'm glad to say that after a month of absence, YES, we're still here, and CodeBlued is luckily still alive.

2. That said, please SEND IN YOUR SECRETS! It doesn't have to be about any particular topic, it just has to be a secret, no matter how small or trivial. E-mail away at codeblued@gmail.com ! You can send in an actual postcard (picture file) or text-based secret, and I will gladly make the secret for you. ;)

3. In addition, do type your comments about the secrets posted. This way, I'll know that somewhere out there, someone's still reading them, and they still have a purpose.

Being a bitch is hard, especially if you're not one by nature. But these past few weeks, I've come to realize that sometimes, being that bitchy, party, fun-loving girl is the only escape you've got. I've friends who live this kind of life -- partying, having fun, always up for anything, meeting different guys without exerting too much focus on a particular one. It doesn't work, I thought. It won't work. Then, just like that, the truth finally sinks in. My way doesn't work too. Don't get me wrong. There's nothing good about being a bitch. It's just that, this way, I get to have fun with more people, meet more guys. Or at least live in that fantasy where I'm not stuck right here, right now, hurting.

CodeBlued: There's another secrets site on the web, www.postsecret.blogspot.com , and it's simply fabulous! My first encounter with Postsecret was when I saw one of its book of secrets that my friend bought. I loved it right away! Then I thought of making a local version, so we could also submit secrets. After all, we all have secrets, so why not create an avenue for expression as well? :)

About my newest secret: Well, it's about my first date which happened about a few days ago. It was overwhelming to say the least. It's not everyday that two guys go out on a date. I felt happy, sad, confused, and anxious all at the same time. But most importantly, I had so many questions about all the uncertainties. I guess, I'm just being careful with my heart. Oh well, wish me luck.

Dear Code Blued,

Thanks for posting my secret!:) The timing was actually quite perfect. Although that relationship was 2 years ago, (we broke up the 1st week of May), I still felt some twinge of pain this last week remembering everything, the love and the heartbreak. But having my secret out in the open made me realize just how free I am now.

The secret's of course is a joke, an exaggeration. (We didn't break up because the magic8 ball told me to!) Rather, it's a metaphor for all the stupid little things we do, (especially all the over-analyzing we do!!) in relationships and how it just ends up tearing it down. I've learned a lot since then, and as of now while there are no "prospects" per se, in general, my life's outlook is good. :)

HAPPY MONTHSARY Code Blued! :D

Damn, we're one month old! If Code Blued was a child, at one month, it wouldn't be able to talk or walk just yet.

But somehow, Code Blued HAS learned to talk by expressing secrets of many people (mine, yours, theirs), and it has also gotten elsewhere with its tiny baby steps --- for example, our mention in this Inquirer online article, and a soon-to-be published article in an org's magazine (I'll update if it's final:). In addition, more people are submitting to Code Blued, so I'd like to think that we're reaching more people. ;)

1. If last week (April28) was amazing, then this week was even better! As early as Tuesday, I already had 10 secrets. :D As a result, I was able to relax for the rest of the week, not worrying about needing more submissions. 1. Not much comments for last week's set, but the site has doubled its number of hits since its initial launch. Thanks! I hope that people eventually become regular visitors to Code Blued. :)

2. After just two weeks of secrets, Code Blued already gets a mention in Inquirer.net (the online version of Philippine Daily Inquirer newspaper). I'd like to extend my biggest THANKS to my friend, Cands, the writer of that awesome article. :) Code Blued gets just a one-line mention, but it's still something. Click here to read that great article! :D

3. It's been a pretty good week, publicity-wise. In addition to that article, various people have told me how much they like Code Blued. THANK YOU! It really makes me happy to hear that people are enjoying the site.

4. ...but of course, for people to keep enjoying Code Blued, secrets need to be sent in! This week was definitely the hardest so far, in terms of content. :( Despite the many visits, I still haven't been getting enough secrets to fill each week's quota. Please, DO SEND IN your secrets to codeblued@gmail.com . If you want to send in an actual postcard, please leave a comment (your email, contact number, Multiply ID etc.) and we might be able to work something out. I'm still trying to get that PO box up and running, though.

5. Finally, please help spread the word about Code Blued! It would be really great if people could talk about it in forums, their Ygroups, and other areas. :) This week's last secret (about the Teletubbies) was made to be used as a sample / ad material. ;)

Posting Code Blued's second set of secrets. Up to the last moment, I was in a constant state of nervousness, having less than 10 submissions for this week's set. This week's set of secrets has been practically miraculous --- this blog's on an uphill climb, but we're slowly getting to where we want to be. :)

1. Sometime within last week, someone sent me FOUR secrets. Yep, that many. A big THANK YOU to whoever sent those. :)
